The collection is being distributed as a Name Your Price download with all proceeds going to organizations that make protective face shields for healthcare and emergency workers. Just this week, singer Ruth Radelet post a picture of her in a shirt that said “The Fuck Is Dear Tommy?”. Perhaps that was a tease for us because today, the band released a new single called Teacher along with the track listing for the album.

Past Forward is a club night that I had to cancel due to the Corona virus. It’s an alternative dance party that features new releases blended with classics in the genres of synth and post punk. Who knows when we will reschedule so instead, I decided to mix together some of the songs that I intended on playing that night. The Italians Do It Better band Desire have released a brand new single and video called Desire. This follows their cover of Bizarre Love Triangle earlier this year. Many fans got to see Desire for the first time as they toured with Chromatics last year.

As artists are finding more ways to entertain from the safe comfort of their own homes, Chvrches have entered the mix by creating a new music video for their song Forever. This is called the Separate But Together version and it consists of each member of the band performing their part of the song from their house.

On this day in history (March 30, 1987), Erasure released their 2nd studio album The Circus featuring the singles Sometimes, It Doesn’t Have To Be and Victim Of Love. This was the bands breakthrough album in the UK even though success in the US came much later.
