Halcyon Waves – Episode 7

Alternative Timelines – The Classics

We are bringing back a popular feature to Strangeways called Alternative Timelines. Each post identifies iconic images and formats them perfectly to fit on your Facebook Timeline Header. There will be a different theme each week and for the first installment, I decided to go with a simple Alternative Classics theme that focuses on three of the most iconic covers of all time.

Halcyon Waves – Episode 6

This weeks show features sets containing brand new releases in the genres of synthpop, dark wave, indie pop and electronica. We have the exciting new releases from Chvrches plus The Chemical Brothers featuring Beck. We have plenty of other new releases and classics mixed in as well.

Spotify release 1.0.9

Spotify release 1.0.9 continues in it’s attempt to make the product more usable. This release adds some aesthetic and usability features, but hasn’t put a huge dent in the list of features that the user base has been clamoring for.

Halcyon Waves – Episode 5

This weeks show is one of my more diverse ones, with segments featuring Trip Hop, Post Punk, Shoegaze and of course…Synthpop. As always, there are a ton of new releases, but you can also hear some classics from Hooverphonic, Echo & The Bunnymen, Cocteau Twins and more!
