New Order is joining the wave of bands using streaming media to deliver content to their fans. The band has announced a YouTube series called Transmissions which will chronicle the transition of Joy Division to New Order, resulting in the story (narrated by New Order) of their first album Movement. You can subscribe to the bands YouTube channel to receive each episode as it is release. Watch below for a trailer for the first episode of the series, which airs next week on March 7th

In other Movement news, the band will also be release a boxset called Movement Definitive Edition. The boxset includes
- Movement on Vinyl with the original sleeve as designed by Peter Saville
- The original CD in a replica mini album sleeve
- A bonus CD containing previously unreleased tracks
- A DVD of live shows and TV appearances
- A hard-cover book
The boxset will be released on April 5, and presales for it are available now.
