On this day in history (December 14, 1979), The Clash released their 3rd studio album London Calling featuring the singles London Calling, Clampdown and Train In Vain. With this album, the band expanded their post punk sound to include other styles such as reggae, rockabilly, R&B, pop and jazz. The songs are also quite woke, taking on social issues such as unemployment, racial conflict, drug use and social displacement.
