Last weeks show had a ton of big name new releases, and I think we topped that this week with brand new songs from New Order, Suede, The Editors, Lust For Youth and Brandon Flowers…plus all sorts of other synth goodies
Feathered with optimism, “Rainy Day” is a really just a simple song about taking negativity and trying to make the best of it. Its hopeful lyrics, laced through with the singer’s beautiful and unusual lilt, paint an upbeat picture of wearing a smile as an umbrella. With its positive, danceable beat and bright melody, it is delightful in its candid, buoyant cheerfulness, completely unabashed.
This weeks show features new releases in the genres of synthpop, indie rock, dreampop and shoegaze. Highlighting the show are new releases from Duran Duran and Hurts. Lots of other new artists to introduce along with classics from Jesus And Mary Chain, New Order and more.
