Tomorrow, post punk darlings Drab Majesty will release their much anticipated new album called Modern Mirror. To hold you over one more day, the band has released a new video for the fourth single off the album. Titled ‘Out Of Sequence’, the track features familiar Drab Majesty hooks but manages to offer a bit of a different style from prior singles.

LA based dark wave/post punk band Drab Majesty have released a new single called Ellipsis. This is off an album titled Modern Mirror that is due out on July 12.
This is a song that changes sonic tactics throughout, and it works really well. Echoing the confusion and frustration of its narration, it vacillates between peace and discord. It builds its story around the lyrics, but challenges itself to tell that story with its audial composition. It warms from sparsity into intricacy, then plays with an almost noodling sound – evoking moments in waiting rooms; anticipatory, anxious.
