The album will be out this winter, but we get our first taste with the track “Dearly Beloved”. Tomorrow, post punk darlings Drab Majesty will release their much anticipated new album called Modern Mirror. To hold you over one more day, the band has released a new video for the fourth single off the album. Titled ‘Out Of Sequence’, the track features familiar Drab Majesty hooks but manages to offer a bit of a different style from prior singles.

As first reported by NME, Peter Hook announced during his Joy Division Orchestrated concert at Royal Albert Hall that he will be reuniting Monaco with singer David Potts. Of course, the two have never been too far apart as Potts has been touring with Peter Hook And The Light over the years.

New Order singer Bernard Sumner has received the Integro Outstanding Achievement award at the 2019 O2 Silver Clefs awards. This award was granted to him for his aid in the music therapy charity, Nordoff Robbins. Blondie, Patti Smith and Robert Plant have received this award in years past. On August 16, Ride will release their next studio album This Is Not A Safe Place. The first single from the album was Future Love which featured the classic Ride shoegaze sound that we have become familiar with. The new single is called Repetition and it has quite a different vibe to it. It’s more of a banger that kind of feels like if Underworld wrote a song for Jesus And Mary Chain.
