Many of you, like us, are eagerly anticpating next week’s release of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. The film is an American adaptation of the best selling trilogy of novels by Swedish author, Steig Larsson, which spawned 3 successful Swedish films. While much of the buzz revolves around whether Rooney Mara can match Noomi Rapace’s Lizbeth Salander, Trent Reznor is generating plenty of his own buzz.
Reznor will re-team with Atticus Ross and director David Fincher, the team behind the Oscar Winning soundtrack to The Social Network, for a 3-disc, 39 track score. Included on the Soundtrack are a couple of amazing covers. Reznor teams up with Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Frontwoman Karen O for a gripping cover of Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song that serves as the opening credits to the film, and has been featured in the movie’s trailers and commercials. Disc 3′s final track and perhaps the closing credits to the film, features How To Destroy Angels (w/ Reznor’s wife Mariqueen Maandig on vocals) for a lovely rendition of Bryan Ferry’s Is Your Love Strong Enough?
