When someone mentions Terri Nunn of Berlin most fans of the 80s new wave band immediately picture the singers trademark two tone blonde and black hair. Much the same can be said when someone mentions Princess Leia from Star Wars – you think about the big braided buns on either side of her head, right? How different would pop culture be today if Princess Leia had been played by Terri Nunn? Believe it or not, she almost was! Before The Metro or Take My Breath Away, Terri was an actress with bit parts in TJ Hooker, Lou Grant and Thank God It’s Friday – and almost won the role of Princess Leia!
