This day just keeps getting better. On the same day that My Bloody Valentine will be releasing the long-awaited follow up to Loveless, Suede release a video for the first single from their new LP Bloodsports. Earlier this month we were treated to album track Barriers, but It Starts and Ends With You is slated to be the first single.

2013 has started off in a ridiculously amazing fashion. In it’s first month we have been treated with music from David Bowie, Suede, Pulp and New Order. Combine that with the new Depeche Mode song leaked late last year, and this has been one of the most impressive periods of music in recent memory. Early in the year Suede starting working on the 6th album and they say it’s going to be nothing like the last one. After their not so successful last album Suede called it quits. In 2010 they got back together and had been touring ever since.
They are currently on a break from touring to spend a few weeks on the new album with Ed Buller. Brett Anderson said that they are no longer trying to reinvent Suede and are going back to their classic sound.

The group Dirty Pretty Strings is performing a concert in aid of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice with special guests; Ed Harcourt, Carl Barat, Sophie Ellis Bextor, and Suede’s Brett Anderson.
Classically trained at the Royal Academy of Music, the girls of Dirty Pretty Strings have worked with the like of Kasabian, Muse, The Streets, Goldfrapp and even Ozzy Osbourne.

Not quite as revered as the 80s, the 90′s is still a decade of Britpop (Blur, Radiohead, James, Suede, Pulp, Happy Mondays), Electronica (Leftfield, The KLF, The Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Daft Punk), Pop-Punk (Ash, Green Day, Weezer), Grunge Rock (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Hole), Rap (2PAC, Wu-Tang Clan, Warren G), and even heroes of the 80′s still kicking out classics (u2, REM, New Order).
