Depeche Mode announces tour dates, premieres new video at Paris press conference

Vive le Mode. Echoing their Sounds of The Universe announcement in Germany in 2008, Depeche Mode members Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher have called a press conference in Paris for October 23, 2012. They have been hinting at a new album and massive World Tour for 2013.

The conference will be streamed live on www.depechemode.com at 1:30 PM CET/12:30 PM UK.

MOTOR enlists help from Martin Gore, Gary Numan and Douglas McCarthy on Man Made Machine album

The critically acclaimed techno band, MOTOR, has switched gears on their new album Man Made Machine. Man Made Machine will be a vocal driven album featuring an impressive line up of guest vocalists. We have already heard the title track which featured a collaboration with Martin L. Gore of Depeche Mode. Also slated to appear on the album is Gary Numan and Douglas McCarthy from Nitzer Ebb.

VCMG Ssss

VCMG album Ssss with Martin Gore and Vince Clark set for March 12th release

The much anticipated project between Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore and ex- DM keyboardist Vince Clark, under the moniker of VCMG, has set the release date for their debut album for March 12th. The album will be titled Ssss.

In December, we got a preview of the first collaboration between Gore/Clarke in over 30 years when they released the Spock EP. The full 10 track Ssss album, showcases their mutual love of Electronic music and will include the 12″ single version of Spock as well as a track from the upcoming EP2, Single Blip.

Martin Gore - Man Made Machine

Martin Gore provides guest vocals on MOTOR’s Man Made Machine

Techno duo MOTOR is set to release their 4th album titled ‘Man Made Machine’. The first single, of the same name, features none other than Martin Gore on backing vocals. The track sounds a bit like a heavier version of Personal Jesus and it would certainly be welcome if Depeche Mode dabbled a bit in this direction on their next effort.

Martin Gore has been in the headlines quite a bit lately as his VCMG project with Vincent Clark just celebrated the release of their first EP featuring the song Spock.

Depeche Mode planning new record, tour – VCMG debut single released

In the wake of the release of VCMG, the Vince Clarke/Martin Gore collaboration, comes the news you have been waiting for. In a recent interview with Spazio Mad, Andy Fletcher intimated that the band plans to meet in January to discuss the follow up to 2009′s Sounds of The Universe.

Vince Clarke and Martin Gore reunite for new music! Depeche Mode fans rejoice

Great news for Depeche Mode fans…or ummmm synthpop fans, or just fans of truly great music. 30 years after the release of Depeche Mode’s Speak and Spell, Vince Clarke and Martin Gore are reuniting for brand new music!

The project is called VCMG and was born of Clarke’s recent love of Minimal dance music. He reached out to his old buddy Gore and asked if he might be interested in collaborating on a techno record. Fortunately for all of us, Gore was happy to oblige.
