The Foreign Resort announce new Scattered and Buried collection, tour dates

Danish band, The Foreign Resort, has announced a new album and tour. Scattered and Buried is a collection of new material, remakes and remixes. A couple of the early standouts on our first listen are the epic guitar rock track Delayed and the pulsating Electro track Tide. Also included on the record are re-worked versions of fan favorites by the likes of Novachild, Sway and Evol.

They are continuing to build on the elements of Post-Punk, Shoegaze and New Wave evident on their 2011 self-titled breakthrough EP. The Foreign Resort has been compared favorably to contemporaries like White Lies, Editors, M83 and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart as well as legends like Joy Division and Killing Joke.

Foreign Resort release video for Take A Walk; US Tour in March

The new wave/shoegaze band from Copenhagen, The Foreign Resort, has just released a brand new video for Take A Walk off of their self titled EP. The video was shot on location at Copenhagen’s Distortion Festival in 2011. For those of you who are new to The Foreign Resort, Gaffa Magazine described them as ‘The Cure embedded in noise with Tears For Fears-ish melodies and the energy burst of Joy Division’.

Foreign Resort EP Released In The US

Danish band Foreign Resort has finally released the self-titled EP in the US. Having just finished touring in the US, they felt that it was fine time for the release. Foreign Resort have warmed up acts such as Swervedriver and A Place To Bury Strangers. They are planning on coming back to the US in March.

Foreign Resort has an infectious nu-wave-indie-post punk hybrid sound that listeners of Strangeways will love.
