Vive le Mode. Echoing their Sounds of The Universe announcement in Germany in 2008, Depeche Mode members Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher have called a press conference in Paris for October 23, 2012. They have been hinting at a new album and massive World Tour for 2013.
The conference will be streamed live on www.depechemode.com at 1:30 PM CET/12:30 PM UK.

As previously reported, Depeche Mode frontman, Dave Gahan will be providing vocals on the forthcoming 4th album from Soulsavers. While the record, The Light The Dead See, will not be available until May 21st, we are excited to present audio of the first single, Longest Day.
Gahan had this to day about the recordings; “This music gave me the perfect palate to play with the BIG questions that we all ask when life becomes less about what can we GET, than: what can we DO? I’ve been very fortunate, and I’m privileged in my life, so I want to do things I feel really connected to now, otherwise there’s no point. Rich and I had both come out of something difficult. This is something to do with that. It was a wonderful experience”.

Soulsavers, the music and production duo of Rich Machin and Ian Glover, will release their new album, The Light The Dead See on May 21st. Their previous three LPs have featured a variety of guest vocalists – most notably Screaming Trees vocalist Mark Lanegan, This much anticipated 4th album will have a new voice – Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan. The album will be available on CD, LP and as a download.

Soulsavers (also known as The Soulsavers Soundsystem) are an English production and remix team composed of Rich Machin and Ian Glover. The Soulsavers’ downtempo electronica sound incorporates influences of rock, gospel, soul, and country. Soulsavers’ third album, Broken, was released in 2009. Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, Twlight Singers) was featured as the main vocalist. Other prominent musicians such as Mike Patton (of Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk and other projects), Jason Pierce (of Spiritualizedand Spacemen 3), Richard Hawley, also feature on the album. They supported Depeche Mode during the European leg of their Tour of the Universe in late 2009. Their upcoming release ‘Home’ is a project with Depeche Mode’s Dave Gahan on vocals. A recent Tweet from one of the web masters says the project ‘has entered the mix/mastering stage’.
