The Postal Service reunion is indeed happening! After the cryptic Postal Service 2013 message on their site a few weeks back, the duo have announced official tour dates. The dates which include Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis, also coincide with the 10th anniversary release of their debut LP, Give Up. The reissue will be out April 9 in the U.S. and April 8 in the UK and will come in a deluxe edition with 2 new songs, remixes and cover versions.

Mark Gardener, the former frontman for Shoegaze heroes, Ride, is taking some of his classics on the road. Following a string of West Coast US dates, Gardener has set a series of gigs for Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Germany and Poland.
The tour reflects a reawakening of Worldwide Ride interest. 2011 saw Ride featured in the Creation records story Upside Down, as well deluxe re-issues of classic Ride records, Nowhere and Going Blank Again.

This past year has been a big one for Synthpop legends, Talk Talk. Toward the end of 2011, the band reissued their classic albums Laughing Stock and Sprit of Eden on Vinyl for the first time in a generation.
The coming months will bring a tribute book and album, Spirit of Talk Talk due May 28. Other names associated include Alan Wilder (Depeche Mode, Recoil), White Lies, Zero 7, Bon Iver, Joan As Policewoman and members of Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, Weezer and Death Cab for Cutie covering 30 Talk Talk tunes from ‘Today’ to ‘Life’s What You Make It’ to ‘After The Flood’
