It’s August 10th, which means its Duran Duran Appreciation Day. Duran Duran’s John Taylor wrote a heartfelt message on their blog and even attached some freebies to the post. This year they are giving a free Gosteffects remix track of The Man Who Stole A Leopard. Duran Duran is also giving fans a short film they shot before performing at the Olympic Ceremony Celebration in Hyde Park. Both freebies are available to download on duranduran.com.
John Taylor also wrote about how they will be writing a new album in London in early 2013. He also hinted at the possibility of there being another of another tour next summer. Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran posted a comical, but thankful video post to Duran Duran’s YouTube page.
