This article highlights some of the new music that was released the week ending April 19, 2019. This weeks selections are mostly synth and electronic focused.
Cannons
Cannons released a new single called Fire For You off their forthcoming album called Shadows. This track has a nice Chromatics feel to it.
Bananarama
Taken from the bands new album In Stereo which also featured the Madonna-like dance track, Dance Music. I’m pretty impressed with the new record. The band has evolved their pop sound to modern times.
Gregory Dillon w/ Rusty Egan
Gregory Dillon has given his 2018 song a brand new Rusty Egan treatment, which is a synthpop midas touch, with his single Painted Blue. If you are not familiar with Gregory Dillon, this track has a Chain Gang Of 1974 or a New Division sound to it.
The Cranberries
The final piece of work from The Cranberries comes in the form of a 4 song EP called In The End. This track is a beautiful and a fitting end to the brilliant career of singer Dolores O’Riordan.
