This article highlights some of the new music that was released the week ending April 05, 2019. This weeks selections feature a few post punk tracks along with some indie rock/pop. This is a bit of a change from the typical synth-heavy new releases that we feature.
JAWS
Taken from their new album The Ceiling. This album is a bundle of post punk goodness from the UK lads. The single Driving At Night might remind you of an even more post punk version of New Order’s Ceremony.
Operators
Faithless is a new single off of a forthcoming album, Radiant Dawn. This track has a modern rock sound with some cool synth elements, somewhat reminiscent of The Cars musically.
Press Gang Metropol
A selection from their brand new album Point Blank. Press Gang Metropol is a band whose songs often remind you of a song off of a John Hughes Soundtrack, Psychedelic Furs style.
The Drums
Off of their brand new album Brutalism. This is an indie pop gem that fans of bands like Craft Spells and Wild Nothing might enjoy.
